COLLEYVILLE – Sally Joy (Moore) Henry, 75, after battling Alzheimer’s went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, November 29, 2012.
Sally was born in Lincoln, NE, March 27, 1937 to Glen & Bernice Moore. She was married to Robert L. Henry for 54 years and was a devoted homemaker. She attended the University of Kentucky and the University of West Virginia and was a lifetime member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Sally loved her church, Covenant Church (formerly Metroplex Covenant Church), and was very supportive of Christian missions. She loved animals, cooking, and was an excellent card player.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Robert L. Henry of Colleyville; son, Thomas and wife, Cheri, and grandchildren, Tommy, Benjamin, & Susannah living in Ankara, Turkey; son, Timothy and wife, Sharon, and grandchild, Peter of Bedford; and son, Jacob and wife, Andrea of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother Phillip Moore, and older sister, Nancy Eisele.
FUNERAL: 2:00 pm Mon Dec 17 at Covenant Church, Colleyville. Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to service. Interment: Lewisburg, WV.
